2. MEET FALEOMAVAEGA
Over 30 years of Proven Service and Leadership for the people of American Samoa Congressman Eni F.H. Faleomavaega was born in the village of Vailoatai, in American Samoa, on August 15, 1943, to Eni and Taualai Hunkin. Faleomavaega is the oldest of seven children. EDUCATION Congressman Faleomavaega graduated from Kahuku High School in Hawaii in 1962 and earned a bachelor's degree in political science and history at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. Faleomavaega also holds a doctorate of jurisprudence (JD) from the University of Houston Law School and a master of law degree (LLM) from the University of California, Berkeley (Boalt College of Law). MILITARY Congressman Faleomavaega was a soldier in the United States armed forces in Vietnam. From 1982-1989, Faleomavaega was a member of the 100th Battalion 442nd Infantry Reserve Unit and was a Captain in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps. From: Election 2008 Web Archive. [
